The Membership Process
How to become a Verified Member of our Directory

Enrollment
Inexperienced individuals must enroll and complete ALL courses on our site. Locticians must only complete our paid courses.

Graduation
You must complete all required courses. We only offer exceptions for pre-established Locticians who are already well versed in the Instant Locs Crochet Method.

Verification
We require a video chat confirmation to prove you are competent with the Instant Locs Crochet Method. We only list those we verify – absolutely zero exceptions.

Membership
By this point you just need to create your profile within our directory and you’re all set. You will be listed and people will find you based on geographic relevance.
Verification and Membership Fees

A one time verification fee which includes a 15-20 minute video chat with a member of our pro team. In this chat our pro consultant will simply confirm that you are fully competent with the Instant Locs Crochet Method. Being verified is a non-negotiable requirement to be a member of our Directory.
Membership

The annual membership fee is required for each listing within our Directory. The membership fee starts one year after your official registration within our database. We collect this fee for upkeep, maintenance, and expansion of our resources for our graduates and the dreadlock community as a whole.

Absolutely, if you’re not a stylists we just require that you complete ALL courses on our website, then confirm your skills with our video chat verification process.
If you’re a reputable Loctician well versed in the Instant Locs Crochet Method, all you need to do is book a Verification Video Chat with one of our Pros. Our Directory is exclusively for the Instant Locs Crochet Method we will not include you if you do not offer this method.
Our Pro Team takes time out of their busy schedule to manually verify your methodology through a video consultation. This takes time, and we believe we should be compensated for it. Plus, for those who haven’t taken the time to understand that we only verify the Instant Locs Crochet Method and book us for verification it would be wasting our time. The verification fee ensures our Pro Team is compensated for their work.
Our membership fee is to help finance our website, upkeep, maintenance, development, and expansion of further resources to garner more traffic which will ultimately benefit you as a member. Besides, just a fraction of payment from a single appointment will easily pay for your entire annual membership fee.
At this point in time it is impossible to estimate how many clients we can provide to you by being a part of our Directory. And many contributing factors are outside of our control such as geographic location, your brand and your reputation, dreadlocked population in your area, etc.. However, our team has had such an abundance of clientele that many of us are overbooked and have to turn people away. This is part of the reason for building our courses and directory – it will give us the opportunity to confidently redirect our prospects to Verified Graduates and Professional within our Directory.
