Aly’s Story

Aly got her first set of dreadlocks installed by us back in 2019. After going through several phases and attaching her own extensions we eventually agreed that we should start working together. Aly already has a background with hair, working as a certified cosmetologist, she was even making house calls before joining our team! So it was a very natural transition for her to start working with dreadlocks to serve our clients in the NYC boroughs. If you’re in Brooklyn, Queens, or Manhattan you’re in good hands with Aly!

I would like to go up in front and say that the Dreadlock Central team did a fantastic job with my locs. Before I did my locs with a lady from Trinidad in Brooklyn, NY and came out disappointed because they used the interlocking method a did come out as neat as I would like. And when I meet this team, they used a crochet method and that changed everything. I would like to give props to Colby for blunting my tips as perfectly as possible. Also Aly and Nash did great job doing the roots. I definitely recommend to give them a try you won't regret it.

I had my very first appointment for dreadlock extensions with Colby and Aly in Brooklyn. They were so welcoming and chill and really made me feel confident in my decision. When it comes down to the process they were so rad, listening to music, watching movies, laughter. I mean, it was such a pleasant atmosphere.
