Aly's Story:

Aly got her first set of dreadlocks installed by us back in 2019. After going through several phases and attaching her own extensions we eventually agreed that we should start working together. Aly already has a background with hair, working as a certified cosmetologist, so it was a very natural transition for her to start working with dreadlocks to serve our clients in NYC. If you’re willing to visit her private salon in East Williamsburg you’re in good hands with Aly!

I’m so glad my sister recommended her. She is super professional and really cares about the health of your locs. Days after the loc services was provided , she did a follow call to find out how my locs are doing and she also sent me a list of loc products to keep my locs looking healthy and vibrant. I definitely found a permanent Loctitan that will be doing my hair from this point on.

I’ve had my locks for 16yrs and have been to several people over the years for maintenance. Some were nightmares (claiming to be expert in Caucasian locks) and I didn’t trust anyone to touch them again for years and years until I linked up with Coby and now Aly via Dreadlock Central. Now I go for maintenance every 4-6mos!! Aly has a beautiful salon in Brooklyn and is flexible to specific requests (ie: leave those hairs out so I don’t have bald spots).

I’ve had the absolute best experience with Aly from dreadlock central! She maintains my locs with her crochet hook technique, and she is so quick and tight with her style of maintenance. Before I did my locs with a lady from Trinidad in Brooklyn, NY and came out disappointed because they used the interlocking method a did come out as neat as I would like. And when I meet this team, they used a crochet method and that changed everything. I would like to give props to Colby for blunting my tips  as perfectly as possible. Also Aly and Nash did great job doing the roots. I definitely recommend to give them a try ***** you won't regret it.
